Clay,
Wood Relief
Part of the Urban Figures series, Berlin is a sculptural composition that captures the rhythm of a city’s skyline through abstract volumes and quiet relief.
Hand-cut wood elements are composed on a wood panel and softened with layers of clay, transforming architectural forms into something more tactile and contemplative. With a nod to Ben Nicholson’s geometric language, this piece reimagines urban structure with rounded edges and softened planes.
“Urban Figures was our way of softening the skyline—of finding lyricism in architecture’s strict lines.”
