A companion to La Croix, Le Rond continues the exploration of contrasts between play and permanence, surface and depth.
Its circular brass mosaic, inlaid within a limestone-covered wooden panel, evokes both ancient artifacts and modern design.
Like its counterpart, the brass is partially revealed—cut, placed, then concealed under layers of limestone and slowly sanded back to visibility.The result is a quiet tension between what is hidden and what is revealed, between intention and erosion.
