Mineral is a meditation on earth’s hidden depths, carved entirely from sculpted limestone atop a hand-crafted wood panel.
Drawing on Monet’s passion for light’s shifting reflections and Poliakoff’s mastery of abstract form and color balance, Margot hand-grinds blues and iron-red pigments into translucent oils, layering them like geological strata.
The subtle relief of the carved surface and embossed patterns evoke the veins of a precious stone, inviting the eye to wander through its luminous terrain.
